BASEMENT DEVELOPMENT

General

1.  Basement Development Package provides you with our measuring, design and drafting services.

2.  Basement Development Package is designed for Customers, who have an existing developed or undeveloped basement that they would like to develop or redevelop.

3.  Basement Development Package includes 2 Minor Design Change Orders.

Design Process

 4.  MeasuringFirst of all we will have to come out to see and measure the Basement that needs to be developed.  At the same time we will discuss the desired rooms and location of the desired rooms in the basement with the Customer.

5.  Existing DrawingsDuring this stage we will prepare the drawings of the existing Basement.

6.  Preliminary DesignDuring this stage the Customer will have an opportunity to make up to 2 Change Orders free of charge.

7.  Once Customer receives the Progress Drawings he or she will be able to prepare a Change Order with a list of Minor Design Changes to theWhen the Customer is ready to have a Progress Meeting he or she has to schedule this meeting by phone.  The Progress Meeting could be held in person in our office, by phone, or via Skype.  If the Progress Meeting is requested to be held by phone or Skype, the customer has to send us the changes to the drawings prior to the meeting.  During this meeting we will go over the changes Customer wants to do and over any questions that might arise from the review of the drawings.  The Progress Meetings have an allocated maximum time limit of 1 hour.  The allocated time is usually sufficient if the Customer comes prepared.

8.  Progress DrawingsOnce we have the existing drawings of the Basement and information from the client regarding the desired changes to the Basement we will prepare a layout of the proposed changes to the Basement and will send those drawings to the Customer.

9.  Progress DrawingsAfter the first Progress Meeting we will make the changes to the floor plans as decided at the meeting.  These changed drawings will be sent to the Customer for a review.

10.  If the Customer approves the Preliminary Drawings we will start working on WorkingIf the Customer will want further changes to the drawings, such will be charged on hourly basis as per our current Price List.

11.  Working DrawingsAfter Customer approves Preliminary Drawings we will proceed with the production of Working Drawings.  Once we complete the Working Drawings we will deliver them to the Customer on the media ordered.

 HOUSE ADDITION OR RENOVATION

General

12.  House Addition or Renovation Package provides you with our measuring, design and drafting services.

13.  House Addition or Renovation Package is designed for Customers, who have an existing building, that they would like to make changes to, including additions and/or renovations.

14.  House Addition or Renovation Package includes up to 3 Minor Design Change Orders.

Design Process

15.  MeasuringFirst of all we will have to come out to see and measure the existing building.  At the same time we will discuss the desired changes to the building.

16.  Existing DrawingsDuring this stage we will prepare the drawings of the existing building based on the measurements taken.

17.  Preliminary DesignDuring this stage the Customer will have an opportunity to make up to 3 Change Orders free of charge.

18.  3 Minor Design ChangeOnce Customer receives the Progress Drawings he or she will be able to prepare a Change Order with a list of Minor Design Changes to the drawings.  When the Customer is ready to have a Progress Meeting he or she has to schedule this meeting by phone.  The Progress Meeting could be held in person in our office, by phone, or via Skype.  If the Progress Meeting is requested to be held by phone or Skype, the customer has to send us the changes to the drawings prior to the meeting.  During this meeting we will go over the changes Customer wants to do and over any questions that might arise from the review of the drawings.  The Progress Meetings have an allocated maximum time limit of 1 hour.  The allocated time is usually sufficient if the Customer comes prepared.

19.  Progress DrawingsBased on desired changes to the existing building discussed with the Customer we will produce to scale floor plans of the building that will be sent to the Customer for a review.

20.  Progress DrawingsAfter the first Progress Meeting we will make the changes to the floor plans as decided at the meeting, and we will also prepare 4 rough elevation drawings of the building (if such are required).  These changed drawings with 4 rough elevations will be sent to the Customer for a review.

21.  Progress DrawingsBased on the changes requested by the Customer we will prepare Preliminary Drawings consisting of floor plans and 4 elevations (if such are required).

22.  At our discretion we may send more detailed Progress Drawings then the required for each stage of the Design Process, but if we do so, the Customer still will have an opportunity to make up to 3 Minor Design Change Orders during the Preliminary Design Stage.

23.  If some portions of the existing building are not affected by the proposed changes to the building, those portions of the existing building will not be measured orThis clause applies to floor plans, elevations, and sections.

24.  If the Customer approves the Preliminary Drawings we will start working on WorkingIf the Customer will want further changes to the drawings, such will be charged on hourly basis as per our current Price List.

25.  Working DrawingsAfter Customer approves Preliminary Drawings we will proceed with the production of Working Drawings.  Once we complete the Working Drawings we will deliver them to the Customer on the media ordered.

26.  Release of Finish Drawing

Once Working Drawing are ready the Customer must pay the invoice prior to the release of the Finial Drawing.
