Before we start working with you, please fill up Design Request Form or call us: Edmonton (780) 994-6543 Calgary (403) 456-4716 Design Request Form (1 of 2) This Design Request Form consists of two parts. First you will have to read and agree to the Terms and Conditions on which this service is being provided to you, and then you will have to fill up the form itself indicating the parameters of the house you want us to design. Please read the following Terms and Conditions on which this service is being provided to you. Please read everything and after you have read, press "next" button in the bottom of this page. By pressing the "next" button in the bottom of this page you will indicate to us that you have read the Terms and Conditions on which this service is being provided to you, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Part 1: Terms and Conditions PLEASE READ THIS INFORMATION CAREFULLY! This agreement contains the terms and conditions that apply to your purchase of custom home design services. By pressing the "next" button in the bottom of this page you will indicate to us that you have read, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. 1. According to the Design Process as described on this site, we will develop working drawings with which you will be able to obtain a building permit. There will be no book specifications. All necessary specs will be on the drawings. The drawings will provide sufficient information for you to get basic prices and for obtaining a building permit. Please see Example for details. 2. Payment for the services may be made by certified check, cash, or money order. The cost of the services shall be determined as described in Pricing or as described in promotion if the promotional code is entered. We require a deposit in order to start working. A part of the total price for the building must be received after the preliminary drawings are done. The final fee for the house shall be adjusted at Working Drawings Stage, and must be paid at the time of receiving the final drawings. 3. This service does not include any necessary structural, mechanical, or electrical engineering sealed input. 4. You and or your builder shall be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits for the work. 5. You are responsible for obtaining an exact survey of the site showing all property lines, existing services, grid spot elevations, and any features such as adjoining roads, sidewalks, curbs, trees, etc. If none is provided, assumptions will be made. 6. You will be responsible for organizing the tendering of the project. We will be available to answer questions during this period. 7. Ownership of Documents. All documents including original drawings, specifications, notes and data are and shall remain the sole and exclusive property of LikeHomeDesign.com Inc. LikeHomeDesign.com Inc. owns the copyright. 8. Liability. The client agrees to limit the liability of the designer to the cost of the designer's fees.
