Design Process

The design process consists of 3 stages:

1.  Gathering Information

2.  Preliminary Design

3.  Working Drawings

1.   Gathering Information

We will have to collect from you the following:

1.   Site plan with lot legal information, lot sizes, and grading.

2.   Architectural guidelines for the area (if any).

3.   Filled Design Request Form.

4.   All extra information (photos, sketches, etc.)

After receiving the above mentioned information we will start doing preliminary design.

2.   Preliminary Design

The final product of this stage will be plans with room sizes, and four elevations. After you approve the preliminary design drawings, we will proceed with working drawings. When the preliminary drawings are done, you will be required to pay a part of the total price.

Please remember to make all your changes during this stage because it is much harder to change things during the Working Drawings Stage. As such, if you decide to make some design changes during the Working Drawings Stage, you will be charged extra beyond the price for the house.

3.   Working Drawings

This is the final stage when your final working drawings will be prepared and sent to print. At the time of receiving the final drawings, the balance for the house is due.
